Luna Dolezal started practicing yoga in 1998 and has been teaching yoga since 2004. She trained in Integrative Yoga Therapy (IYT) with Joseph and Lilian Le Page at the Centro de Yoga Montanha Encantada in Santa Catarina, Brazil. Luna has completed training with Research on Yoga in Education (RYE), for using yoga techniques in an educational setting. In September 2011, Luna completed a Pregnancy Yoga Teacher training with Katie Manitsas at  Jivamukti Yoga Sydney, Australia and she is currently completing a Pregnancy Yoga Teacher Training with Uma Dinsmore-Tuli and Donna Southwell at Yoga Campus. She has also been a dedicated Vipassana meditator since 2005.

Luna has lived in Dublin since 2006 where she has taught Hatha, Astanga and Vinyasa Flow Yoga at various studios and locations in Dublin including Yoga Dublin Studio, Open Mind Yoga Centre, The Samadhi Centre, University College Dublin Sports Centre and The Yoga Room. She also regularly teaches ‘yoga in the park’ on Saturday mornings in the beautiful Dartmouth Square, Ranelagh. Luna also regularly runs yoga retreats with the artist Fiona Hallinan in the Gyreum Ecolodge, County Sligo.

Influenced by her Vipassana meditation practice and her IYT training, Luna encourages students to ‘tune’ into their bodies in her classes, using asana, pranayama and meditative practices to develop corporeal awareness, inner sensitivity and an increased sense of physical, spiritual and emotional wellbeing.

Luna has recently completed a Ph.D. in Philosophy at University College Dublin where she now works as the IJPS Postdoctoral Fellow in the School of Philosophy
